IRISH INDIE FILM FOUNDATION
A community for Irish independent cinema

Founded in 2020, the Irish Indie Film Foundation (IIFF) is a non-for-profit independent initiative created to support the international circulation and visibility of Irish independent cinema.
IIFF works as a cultural and professional platform connecting filmmakers with international audiences through curated screenings, festival partnerships, cultural institutions and educational contexts.
We are now working in a community-led VOD system. Its focus is on artist-driven work for films that challenge traditional distribution models.
Membership with IIFF offers filmmakers and cultural partners access to an international network, curated exhibition opportunities, and participation in a cooperative ecosystem where members benefit collectively from royalties generated by shared distribution initiatives, rather than through per-film or annual payment structures.
This model is designed to foster transparency, sustainability, and long-term support for independent cinema.
